At Adventure Biking Club (ABC), we believe that a great motorcycle adventure starts with a well-prepared rider and a well-maintained motorcycle.
Whether you’re riding through Mumbai traffic, exploring the Western Ghats or heading out on a longer adventure, safety comes first. Our motorcycles undergo regular checks and our rental process includes pre- and post-ride inspections to help ensure every bike is ready for the road.
YOUR SAFETY COMES FIRST
BEFORE YOU RIDE, WE CHECK.
Every ABC rental motorcycle goes through a basic pre-handover inspection.
Our team checks key areas including:
- Tyres & tyre pressure
- Brakes
- Engine & fluid levels
- Chain condition
- Lights & indicators
- Horn
- Battery
- Suspension
- Mirrors
- Controls
- Fuel level
- Odometer
- GPS/tracking system, where applicable
The motorcycle’s condition is also documented through photos and video before handover.

RIDE RESPONSIBLY
THE BEST RIDER IS THE ONE WHO COMES BACK TO RIDE AGAIN.
When riding an ABC motorcycle:
🪖 Wear a Helmet
Always wear a properly fitted and approved helmet.
🛣️ Follow Traffic Rules
Observe speed limits, road signs and local traffic regulations.
🍺 Never Ride Under the Influence
Never ride after consuming alcohol, drugs or other substances that can impair your ability to ride.
🌧️ Respect the Conditions
Adjust your speed and riding style according to traffic, weather, road and visibility conditions.
🏍️ Ride Within Your Limits
Choose routes and riding conditions appropriate to your experience.
📱 Don’t Ride Distracted
Avoid using your phone while riding. Stop somewhere safe if you need to use it.
🤝 Respect Other Road Users
Adventure riding is about exploration—not racing.
ROAD & ADVENTURE RIDING
Before heading out on a long-distance or outstation ride, we recommend checking:
Weather → Route → Fuel → Accommodation → Network Coverage → Motorcycle → Riding Gear
For longer adventures, carry:
- Basic first-aid supplies
- Drinking water
- Power bank
- Appropriate clothing
- Emergency contact information
- Required motorcycle documents
- Basic puncture/repair essentials where appropriate
ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE
WHEN SOMETHING GOES WRONG, CONTACT ABC.
Mechanical issues can happen even with a well-maintained motorcycle.
If you experience a breakdown during your ABC rental, contact our team as soon as it is safe to do so.
We will assess the situation and guide you on the next steps.
RSA support may include assistance with:
- Motorcycle breakdowns
- Minor mechanical issues
- Puncture-related assistance
- Battery-related issues
- Towing/recovery coordination
- Emergency guidance
- Service-centre coordination
The availability and scope of roadside assistance may depend on your location, the nature of the issue and the applicable rental package.
WHAT TO DO IN CASE OF A BREAKDOWN
01 — MOVE TO SAFETY
If possible, move yourself and the motorcycle away from moving traffic.
02 — TURN OFF THE ENGINE
If the motorcycle has a mechanical or electrical issue, switch it off where safe.
03 — CONTACT ABC
Call or WhatsApp our support team and share your Booking ID and current location.
04 — SHARE YOUR LOCATION
Send your live location through WhatsApp/Google Maps so our team can understand where you are.
05 — DON’T ATTEMPT MAJOR REPAIRS
Do not dismantle or modify the motorcycle without ABC’s approval.
06 — WAIT FOR INSTRUCTIONS
Our team will guide you regarding recovery, repair or the next appropriate step.
IN CASE OF AN ACCIDENT
SAFETY FIRST. ALWAYS.
If you’re involved in an accident:
1. Check for injuries.
Seek emergency medical assistance immediately if required.
2. Move to a safe location if possible.
Do not put yourself or others at further risk.
3. Contact emergency services when necessary.
4. Inform ABC immediately.
5. Share your location and basic details of the incident.
6. Take photographs/videos of the scene and motorcycle if it is safe to do so.
7. Follow the instructions provided by ABC and the relevant authorities.
Do not attempt to conceal an accident or leave the motorcycle unattended without informing ABC.

For life-threatening emergencies, contact the appropriate emergency service first and then inform ABC.
GPS & MOTORCYCLE TRACKING
Selected ABC motorcycles may be equipped with GPS or other tracking technology.
Tracking may be used for legitimate purposes including:
- Motorcycle security
- Fleet management
- Recovery
- Emergency assistance
- Operational support
Never disconnect, remove or tamper with the GPS device.
Tampering with tracking equipment may result in additional charges and/or termination of the rental, subject to the applicable rental agreement.
BEFORE YOU START YOUR RIDE
YOUR 60-SECOND ABC SAFETY CHECK
Before riding away, check:
☐ Helmet securely fastened
☐ Riding gear properly fitted
☐ Tyres appear properly inflated
☐ Brakes feel normal
☐ Lights & indicators working
☐ Mirrors adjusted
☐ Fuel level checked
☐ Motorcycle documents received
☐ Phone charged
☐ Emergency contact saved
☐ Route checked
☐ Weather checked
Then ride.
AFTER YOUR RIDE
When returning the motorcycle:
- Return it at the agreed time and location.
- Inform ABC about any mechanical issue.
- Report any accident or damage.
- Return all rented equipment.
- Complete the return inspection.
- Confirm the final odometer reading.
- Confirm the motorcycle’s condition with the ABC representative.
ABC will record the post-rental condition through an inspection, photographs and/or video.
WHAT IS NOT ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE?
RSA is intended to provide reasonable assistance with genuine motorcycle breakdowns and related situations.
It does not necessarily cover costs arising from:
- Accidents caused by rider negligence
- Reckless riding
- Racing or stunt riding
- Alcohol/drug-related incidents
- Unauthorised use
- Prohibited routes or activities
- Lost keys
- Running out of fuel
- Damage caused by misuse
- Recovery resulting from violation of the rental agreement
Any applicable costs will be handled according to your Bike Rental Agreement and applicable insurance/rental terms.
